(WICHITA, KS) – Wichita Area Technical College (WATC) is now enrolling for classes to be offered at the National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT) at 4004 N. Webb Rd. beginning August 16, 2010. Current hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday’s. Beginning August 1 the NCAT admission offices will be open until 6:00 p.m.

Programs offered at the NCAT are in the fields of Aviation and Manufacturing and include Aviation Maintenance Technology, Aviation Manufacturing, (including composites and aerostructures), Avionics, Nondestructive Testing, Fiber Optics and Data Cable Installation, Engineering Design Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Machining, and Welding. Aerospace Quality Control, a new program, will also begin this fall and new programs in Aerospace Coatings & Paint Technology, Industrial Automation and Machine Maintenance, and Aviation Interiors will be offered beginning in January 2011.
