Thank you to all of the sponsors, volunteers and participants for the Social Media Series Lunch and Learns.  The series began the first week of June  and concluded on August 13 with the Facebook session hosted by the Girl Scouts.  The purpose of the series was to share how social media is being used by Wichita business and community members.  Each session was hosted at a different business location, with different speakers sharing their experiences on different social media topics.  Sessions included:

  • Facebook – Connecting with business and community
  • Email Marketing – Manage, track and improve email communications
  • Online Advertising for your website
  • Website Optimization – Improve and Enhance Your Website
  • LinkedIn – Making the most of personal and professional connections
  • YouTube – A place for business, education and fun
  • Blogging – Who’s doing it and why
  • Twitter – Engaging with business and community

We felt the series was a success and had a total of about 250 participants who attended the lunch and learns.
