Governor Brownback leads discussion on empowering Hispanic small business at WATC

Hosted by The Kansas Hispanic and Latino American Affairs Commission, the Wichita Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City and the Kansas Department of Commerce, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback will lead an open discussion with the Hispanic business community about economic development in Kansas.

The Hispanic Business Forum will begin with a panel titled “Resources to Make Your Business a Success” Additional speakers and presenters will include:

  • Rhonda Harris, minority and women owned business director, Kansas Department of Commerce
  • Jamie Hofling, senior product manager, economics, NetWork Kansas
  • Charles Dilliehunt Jr., program consultant, Kansas Department of Transportation
  • Wayne Bell, district director, U.S. Small Business Administration, Wichita
  • Caleb Asher, president and CEO of Sprout Communications in Topeka
  • Governor Brownback
  • Pat George, Kansas Commerce secretary
  • Patricia Ramirez-Ceberg, president, Earles Engineering & Inspection Inc., Wichita
  • Diana Ramirez, owner, Express Employment Professionals and Specialized Recruiting Group, Topeka
  • Michael Barrera, director of National Coalitions and Entrepreneurship, The Libre Initiative
  • Derrick Bauer, president and CEO, Zumit Corporation
