This new center (NCAT) is a unique and very inspiring campus for aviation training. It is a great mix of education, training and reasearch. It was built on public and private partnerships. Five aviation industries (Hawker, Spirit, Boeing, Cessna, and Bombardier Learjet) came together several years ago and started the vision for a world-class training center. Today we’ve opened that center.
The National Center for Aviation Training includes:
- 224,000 square feet of teaching and learning space
- 21 classrooms
- 25 labs
- 200 seat auditorium
- Located on an airport runway
- Capacity for 1,500 students
