Industry Advocate Teams, Automotive Service Technology
Wichita Area Technical College (WATC) educators rely heavily on advice from business and industry, to maintain WATC programs that meet current occupational needs.
An Industry Advocate Team is a group of persons outside the education profession, made up of representative lay-people, recognized and respected in their own fields of work who advise WATC educators, administrators, and Board of Trustees regarding programs. Decisions are based on the employment needs of the community, state, regional, national, and international marketplace.
