Program Features

The Electromechanical Systems Technical Certificate program provides the solid foundational knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the mechanical and automated manufacturing environment. Graduates will learn to analyze, troubleshoot, and align mechanical and automated industrial machinery. Program course work includes electronics, industrial wiring, motor controls, programmable logic controls, instrumentation, industrial fluid power, manufacturing automation concepts, and robotics.

  • Admission Requirements

    In addition to the college’s admissions policy, students must submit an application for admission, be 18 years of age or older, show documentation of high school graduation or satisfaction of high school equivalence prior to graduation from the program, and meet entrance exam requirements.

    Accreditation, Credit Hours and Cost

    The Electromechanical program is approved by the Kansas Board of Regents.

    The program consists of 47 credit hours and costs approximately *$7,990.

    *Costs include tuition, student fees and lab fees. Books, tools, uniforms and any other expenses are not included.  Additional fees may apply.

    Students interested in this program are eligible to apply for federal financial aid.
