Homeschool + College
Wichita Area Technical College (WATC) provides a fantastic opportunity for homeschool students to expand their knowledge, skills and diversity by offering what they can’t experience at home. The labs and hands-on involvement and experience available at WATC is unlike any other college.
WATC offers more than 75 programs of study, many focused on science, engineering and technical occupations. Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, general education courses like Algebra, Psychology, History and many others are easily transferred to four-year colleges like WSU.
Although WATC is the fastest growing college in Kansas, classroom sizes are kept small so the students are able to get to know and connect with their peers and instructors. We welcome cohort-based classes and are prepared to adapt to specific educational needs.
Free Tuition Opportunities
Students with high school Junior or Senior status receive FREE TUITION for qualified Career and Technical Education courses. For complete availability, accommodations and schedule, please contact Annie Amstutz at 316.677.1897 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
General Education Courses
General Education courses are available for students who would like to begin their college education with a more personal and affordable option to private schools and state universities. Students can complete lower-level courses at WATC before transferring on to a four-year college or university. General education courses are also included in all WATC associate degree programs to provide students a well-rounded curriculum while preparing for a technical career.
