Basic Private Security Officer Training

The Basic Private Security Officer Training (Basic PSOT) course is a 32 hour course designed to train Security Officers in basic duties and requirements of a security officer in compliance to the Wichita City Code. Upon successful completion of the Basic PSOT course, students’ will receive a certificate of completion from WATC and may apply for the permanent security permit issued by the training department of the Wichita Police department. Temporary security permit from Wichita Police department is recommended.
