Create a career – and an environment – as beautiful as it is functional
Interior designers meld science and art – designing hardworking, technically thought-through spaces while applying creative solutions infused with aesthetic sensibilities. If you like to sketch, problem solve and space plan, a design career could be for you. And, if you want to accelerate your career with a program that can quickly have you out working in the industry, WATC can be your best choice.
Pack four years into two
WATC offers Wichita’s only associate of applied science degree in interior design. This high-energy, competency-based program compresses what you’d learn at a four-year college to create an intense, fast-track learning experience. Participate in hands-on learning in small, personalized classes. Receive individualized attention from industry-leading professionals. Plug into computer-based coursework with industry-preferred software.
We pattern our two-year interior design degree after what you’d learn earning a four-year bachelor’s degree. The workload’s the same. Only the timeframe differs. Instead of a year of studio time, for example, you get 16 weeks. You develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the field.
