Wichita, Kans. — More than 200 professionals seeking to enhance their sales skills attended a half-day training seminar presented by the Wichita Business Journal and sponsored by the Employer Services division of Wichita Area Technical College. The event featured nationally-renowned sales trainer Hal Becker.
“I was genuinely impressed by the effectiveness of the sales training program delivered today,” said Jim Fly, Executive Director for Advancement and Employer Services at WATC. “As a sales director and former national sales trainer, I can usually spot strong sales training that makes an impact. The training by Becker was impressive. He kept a rapid pace, covered significant sales topics, and related very well to both those new to sales and those sales pros with many years of experience. Many participants commented that the program had been both very helpful and very entertaining. A large majority of the participants said they would welcome a follow-up presentation by Becker. And many participants said they were pleased to know that WATC is available to host training events for businesses in the community.”
At age 22, Hal ranked #1 among a Xerox sales force of 11,000. He is an expert on Sales, Customer Service, and Negotiating. He conducts seminars or consults for more than 140 organizations a year.
