WICHITA, Kan. – KEVA planks are wooden blocks designed for creative play.

Now, thanks to a special partnership, Wichita companies can send employees to a unique class in which they will learn to build not only wooden towers, but also a high-functioning team.

Exploration Place and WATC have partnered to offer a four-hour workshop called KEVA: Build Your Team.

Expert instructors from WATC’s Employer Services division utilize an inspiring exhibit space at Exploration Place to lead groups through an interactive training course designed to improve team communication and project management using simple concepts and tools. Participants will gain insight into team dynamics and current methods used to manage teams in an ever-changing environment.

The program requires between 12-24 participants organized into teams of 3-4. Classes will be offered weekday afternoons from 1-5 p.m. Dates are available now and the special introductory price of $60/person is available for sessions booked by November 26th or $75/person if booked after this date.

Registration is available by calling Exploration Place at 316-660-0620. More information is available at www.explorationplace.com.org/teambuilding or by calling the museum. Each participant receives a training booklet with charts and strategies as well as a coupon for Exploration Place, a coupon for computer training at WATC, and a commemorative KEVA plank.

Held in Exploration Place’s popular exhibit entitled KEVA: Build a Mind, the course benefits from the atmosphere of the museum by encouraging creative thinking and by removing participants from routine offices and conference rooms. The program outline includes the following:
