At each semester’s end comes final exams and projects which can cause students to feel overwhelmed with stress. WATC wants to provide their students with ways to manage their stress and allow for a moment of relaxation during this hectic time.
Student Services at WATC will be will be hosting a “Lunch & Learn: Stress Management for Finals” seminar at their Southside Campus (Room F201) on Thursday, May 2nd at 12:00 pm. “Balancing school and life can be difficult and stressful for many. Student Services wants to give the WATC students an opportunity to find new and healthy ways to keep it all in balance,” said WATC Academic Coach, Jena Seiler.
Free food will be provided along with a presentation from Jena Seiler. “It is going to be an array of super foods for finals week that promote healthy brain and body for the student while studying. I encourage students who have been experiencing stress this semester to come, relax and enjoy some helpful tips and tools to reduce stress so that learning and life can be more pleasurable and successful,” said Seiler.
