WATC Commencement Program Honors More Than 500 Student Graduates

The 2011 Commencement Ceremony to honor graduates of Wichita Area Technical College (WATC) was held May 20 at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex in Wichita, KS. Mary Torrez, Practical Nurse graduate gave the student address. Sedgwick County Commissioner Tim Norton gave the Commencement address.

Wichita Area Technical College administration, faculty, staff and students want to thank Sedgwick County Manager, Bill Buchanan and the Sedgwick County Board for their vision and dedication to aviation and advanced manufacturing training in Sedgwick County with the building of The National Center for Aviation Training.

Wichita Area Technical College is a Kansas Board of Regents Institution and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
