by admin on May 13, 2011

Graduation is always a meaningful time of recognizing students and celebrating their accomplishments.  This year is particularly exciting because we will have our first graduating class from the National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT).  We are proud of all of our students and the effort they’ve put forth to achieve their goals.

The Medical Assistant Program Pinning Ceremony will be held Tuesday, May 17 at 11:00 AM at the National Center for Aviation Training.  There will be 13 students recognized for their achievement in the Medical Assistant Program.

The Practical Nurse Pinning Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 7:00 PM at the National Center for Aviation Training.  There will be 57 students recognized for their achievement in the Practical Nurse Program.

The Surgical Technology Pinning Ceremony will be held June 29, at Noon at the National Center for Aviation Training.  There will be 14 students recognized for their achievement in the Surgical Technology Program.

The 2011 Commencement ceremony will be Friday, May 20, 7:00 pm at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex (5015 E. 29th North). After the ceremony a reception will be held for graduates and their families. Approximately 525 students will be recognized for their achievements in earning either Associate of Applied Science Degrees or Technical Certificates. The commencement speaker will be Tim Norton, Sedgwick County Commissioner.
