New Student Orientation is Underway

by admin on January 12, 2011

This week the college will see hundreds of new students during orientation sessions scheduled throughout the week.  Sessions are scheduled at both Southside and NCAT campuses for all programs.

Student Orientation provides new students valuable information to help ensure a good experience right from the start. The goal is to provide students an opportunity to connect with their peers as well as to make them aware of resources available to help them succeed. Orientation not only helps to ease anxiety for new students, but it helps students navigate the education process and try to ensure a good experience from the beginning.

“We are so excited to meet all the new students who are starting this semester. Attending orientation is a student’s first step to success when they begin college”, said Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and Learner Services Sheree Utash.

Students are encouraged the ask us general questions on Facebook or Twitter.
