Robotel System used in Design Technology Program

by amcfayden on October 29, 2010

Design Technology Students experience a high-tech learning environment.

The Robotel software allows the instructor to send their screen to the work station of all students, individual students, or to the projector at the front of the room. It also allows the instructor to view and assist students from the instructor work station. This enables the instructor to work with the entire class or any student requiring extra help – right from their machine.

“This is the first semester that students will have the ability to work together as a group, right from their own machine,”  said instructor Jeremy King. The software is also in WSU’s NIAR lab.

As a demonstration, we recorded quick video clips of students working on projects – right from the instructors machine.
