The following announcement is from Jim Walters, the Chairman of the Sedgwick County Technical Education and Training Authority (SCTETA).
Faculty, Staff, and Students:
We are pleased to announce the Board is interviewing finalists for the WATC President position on Monday, November 1, 2010 in the NCAT auditorium.
Accordingly, I invite you to join your fellow faculty members, staff and students in participating in an open forum that same date to meet each of the candidates at the National Center for Aviation Training, 4004 N. Webb Road in the Auditorium. Times for each candidate are:
- 1:00 PM Candidate #3
- 2:00 PM Candidate #2
- 3:00 PM Candidate #1
The purpose of the forum will be to listen to your comments on the qualifications and preferred qualities for the President and will last no longer than 45 minutes. Candidate names will be released Monday, November 1, 2010 to allow each to make the appropriate notifications within their organizations.
The selection of the next President will be one of the most important decisions in shaping the future of the College, and the perspectives of faculty members, staff and students will be a valuable source of information to guide our decision-making. We appreciate your thoughtful consideration of each of the candidates and thank you for your continued support and dedication to WATC.
