Leadership Kansas Visits NCAT

by admin on August 27, 2010

Tours of the National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT) were given to the 2010 Leadership Kansas class today.  Leadership Kansas is a statewide program that was designed to enhance and motivate future leaders from various Kansas communities. They were the first group to use the newly completed NCAT auditorium.  After the tour, a Q&A session was held with Paul H. Wooley, PhD and Chief Scientific Officer of CIBOR, Dr. John Tomblin, Executive Director, NIAR and Sheree Utash, WATC Senior Vice President, Academic Affairs/Learner Services.

“It was a pleasure to show NCAT to Kansas’ top leaders. This is an example of how government, business and education are working together to make Kansas a world leader in manufacturing and aviation,” said Randy Roebuck, WATC Director of Technology and 2008 Leadership Kansas Alumni.
