(WICHITA, KS) – Wichita Area Technical College (WATC), an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) educational satellite site and affiliate training institution of Metropolitan Energy Center in Kansas City, MO, is offering a 10-hour Construction Industry course for private and public sector personnel. This course is designed to present an overview of how the provisions of the OSHA Act may be implemented in the workplace. In addition, the course will cover the rights and responsibilities under federal OSHA guidelines, recordkeeping responsibilities, an introduction to OSHA’s construction standards, and an overview of the requiements of the more frequently referenced and cited standards. Upon completion of the course participants will receive Institute Certificates of Attendance and OSHA course completion cards.
