Composite Technology, AAS
This program prepares students to be successful in today’s highly competitive world of aviation composite technologies. Supported by a solid background in composite theory, students will apply their knowledge in a state of the art composite laboratory at the National Center for Aviation Training. A well-rounded curriculum allows students hands-on experience in all the stages of the aircrafts life from design to production and repair. Coursework in the program includes CATIA, composite fabrication, composite repair and lean manufacturing. Students will complete their educational experience with 20 credits of general education courses in five areas of study including mathematics, natural and social sciences, English and communications.
This program utilizes ITL content for fully on-line delivery or hybrid delivery.
