Aviation Maintenance Technology, AAS
Program Features
This program meets the requirements for students to take the exam for the airframe and power plant mechanic certificate. The certificate authorizes the holder to approve aircraft that has undergone inspection or maintenance “for return to service”. This curriculum is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. Graduates from this program are in demand not only in the field of aviation but in other fields that require a high degree of mechanical knowledge.
This program uses courses with ITL content as classroom enhancements.

Accreditation
The AAS of Aviation Maintenance Technology is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
This program has been approved by the Department of Education for federal financial aid.
