HLC Re-Accreditation Public Relations & Education Committee

As all of you should be aware – and if you’re not, the Public Relations & Education Committee is here to help you with that! WATC is up for an accreditation review and will be visited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) in February of 2014. During the September WATC campus-wide HLC in-service, the brand new PRE Committee met for the first time and immediately went to work defining their main purpose, who they wanted to reach and how they were going to achieve their objectives.

Through the creativity and amazing brainstorming power of the team, they established a goal for the HLC Public Relations & Education Committee: to help make the re-accreditation process public, fun and inclusive. The PRE Committee will also develop different means by which to educate the campus and the community about HLC and the accreditation review process. So stay tuned for helpful information that will keep you up-to-date on what is going on as WATC counts down to February 2014!
